Join Us as an EA-ASEAN Research Fellow
FORUM-ASIA invites passionate individuals to apply for the position of EA-ASEAN Research Fellow. Under the guidance of the EA-ASEAN Programme Manager and Programme Officer/Associate, this fellow will play a crucial role in monitoring, documenting, and researching human rights conditions in East and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and Documentation: Keep a vigilant eye on developments related to restrictive laws impacting freedom of expression, assembly, and association across East and Southeast Asian countries, including ASEAN dynamics.
- Reporting: Craft detailed reports based on both quantitative and qualitative data gathered through meticulous research.
- Crisis Analysis: Monitor the unfolding situation in Myanmar and assess its broader implications for civic space.
- Web Management: Contribute to the upkeep and content management of the FORUM-ASIA EA-ASEAN dedicated websites EA-ASEAN Human Rights Law and Human Rights in ASEAN.
- Content Creation: Draft press releases, statements, and op-eds addressing critical human rights issues in East and Southeast Asia.
- Supportive Tasks: Assist in various tasks as delegated by your supervisor(s).
